Pulled this bow out and have been adjusting it, since I’ve been used to shooting my BowTech, which is now a 50 lb, while this one was a 39 lb, so I upped this one to about 47, then a little more (I need to weigh it). I’ve actually been using my release as a makeshift back tension, which is a little funny (I forgot my actual back tension release today). Not too bad, but I can’t seem to get a video of my good groupings.

It compelled me to make this video demonstrating considerations that need to be made about the direction of the wood grain when building wood arrows. When I was 8 years old, a wood arrow separated at one of the feather grains. That arrow ended up in my index finger. Nancy’s Broken Arrow is a great 3D archery course. This video was quickly put together from this past Memorial Day Weekend shoot. It was a fun bear shoot. You dont hold the arrow under your eye at full dra,you hold it a`litle bit beside your eye (periferic sightening) or unintensional sighting who’d be the correct term You till t the bow….. And you NEVER look at the arrow while drawing or realizing.. You look at the target,not the arrow. You anchor always at the same spot,( very import-end!!! ) One more import en thing,dont shoot whit a`to heavy Bow,that makes it difficult to dra al`the way back=fulldra You dra length shod be MAXIMUM one inch shorter than whit a`compound bow,if it is more your bow is to heavy for you!!! THIS IS A` FACT NOT FICTION !!! And of course you can shoot whit the wrong eye dominant,and all the other things wrong!!!! but you will NEVER get that fine PRECISION of shooting at a`10mm target at up to 30 meters over and over again and hitting EVERYTHING YOU LOOK AT!!!
